To create the public momentum necessary to tackle climate change, strengthen our democracy, dismantle systemic racism, and ensure the long-term health of all communities, LCV Education Fund and our state affiliates work to build a powerful and inclusive environmental movement. Through our Chispa and Climate Action programs and art activism, we connect people to political solutions.
Our national network of 30+ state affiliates is essential to engaging the public, environmental groups, and policymakers to advance environmental priorities across the country. LCV Education Fund works closely with our independent state partners to build strong and effective public education and advocacy programs for environmental protection and land conservation at local, state, and national levels.

The DFA program engages in this work by registering and turning people out to vote, and through transformational community organizing.
Strengthening Our DemocracyLCV Education Fund’s grant program supports Boards and Commissions Fellowship programs led by our state affiliates in the Conservation Voter Movement. Fellows are drawn from our state affiliates and allied community organizations. The fellowship is intended to recruit racially diverse, values-aligned environmental leaders and help them to secure appointments to boards and commissions that can help to advance a clean energy and pro-environment agenda.
