LCVEF's State Capacity Building Mission
The mission of the State Capacity Building Division is to develop and elevate the institutional capacity of state Leagues of Conservation Voters (LCV) education funds.
In turn, the mission of the state LCV education funds is to educate and mobilize citizens, increase civic participation and advocate for sound environmental policies.
Our goal is to strengthen existing member state LCV education funds and establish new state conservation voter organizations where none currently exist.
We build the capacity of member organizations by providing training, mentoring, technical and financial assistance, and by facilitating resource sharing and networking. We also share successful models and best practices from state to state through an annual conference, regional "boot camps" and year-round technical support.
