Student Conservation Voters Student Conservation Voters, an initiative of the LCV Education Fund, is a non-partisan, nationwide effort to train and mobilize young Americans in voter registration and outreach work to help them get involved and make their voices heard in the US. Student Conservation Voters, formerly Project Democracy, has trained hundreds of students from across the country, and registered and educated nearly 30,000 voters on campuses nationwide. Previous campaigns have included a nationwide campaign for the fall 2004 elections, in which nearly 100,000 students were contacted and encouraged to vote, and a national Clean Energy campaign to fight for a sensible energy policy in the United States. Job Description Interns will work to organize students on campus to participate in Student Conservation Voters and LCV Education Fund programs, from campus voter registration and education, to voter mobilization.
